On the earnings front, investors are waiting for the results of AES Corp. (AES.)(N), Sempra Energy (SRE).(N), SYSCO Corp (SYY)(N) and Tyson Foods (TSN)(N).
Oil futures increased by 3% to above $ 100 a barrel, helped by hunting to negotiate with traders and investors after the cliff last week.
